Electrical Engineer

The ExxonMobil Permian Power Team is responsible for ensuring the availability and reliability of power to support our growing electrical load base. We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join the Permian Power organization in Midland, TX.

Requirements

• Interface with cross functional teams to understand field development plans and develop load forecasts.
• Manage multiple projects with moderate complexity.
• Engineering support will include options analysis/selection, design, AFE management, procurement, drawings creation, construction support, commissioning support/start-up and post start-up modifications.
• Evaluate electrical transmission, substation, and distribution infrastructure to determine appropriate modifications and new infrastructure required for supporting electrical loads.
• Monitor, assess, and correct power quality issues through the electrical infrastructure.
• Perform root cause analysis on electrical related failures and provide guidance on corrective actions.
• Work with external electrical service providers (e.g. Oncor, AEP, & Xcel) to ensure power availability
