Senior Power Trader

We are seeking an experienced Senior Power Trader to strengthen our London trading team. This is a high-impact role for a Senior Power Trader with a strong track record of proprietary trading P&L generation in power curve markets.

Requirements

• 7–10 years trading GB/EU power curve markets with a demonstrable speculative P&L and proven commercial impact
• Deep understanding of power markets, ideally including experience with forward asset optimization
• Strong relationships with market counterparties and experience of deal development
• Proficiency in analysing large datasets; working knowledge of Python, SQL, and advanced Excel preferred
• Ability to work with quantitative teams on improving models, signals, and analytics that support trading strategy
