Senior Trader - Fuel Oil/Feedstocks

ExxonMobil Global Trading is looking for an experienced Feedstocks / Fuel Oil Trader to join their dynamic and rapidly growing global Heavy Distillates team. The role will be responsible for risk-on trading in physical and/or derivative markets, optimizing ExxonMobil assets, managing risk, and capturing value through strategic trading decisions and global arbitrage.

Requirements

• 7-10 years of experience in physical/paper energy trading
• Physical and/or derivatives trading experience in petroleum products
• Experience with European fuel oil and/or feedstock markets (HSFO / CBO / VLSFO / HSSR / LSSR / VGO) highly preferred
• Solid understanding of commodity markets, trade flows, supply/demand fundamentals, arbitrage economics, etc.
• Proven ability to develop and execute profitable physical / paper trading strategies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, leadership, and organizational skills
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills; ability to build collaborative relationships and work on a large global team spanning multiple time zones
• Deep understanding of commodity risk management, hedging, VAR and exposure management
• Deep knowledge of Jones Act and foreign flag freight, blending, and storage logistics
