Sr. Compression Engineer

ExxonMobil is seeking a Senior Compression Engineer to provide technical support to fellow engineers on the team and to our operations staff for surface facilities, fixed equipment, and rotating equipment within the Permian Basin. The role requires a blend of technical expertise, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in an Oil and Gas engineering role with a focus on facilities or upstream unconventional.
• Demonstrated experience in managing and executing projects
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in Procount and Hysys with ability to model design modifications and pressure drops.
• Ability to understand/redline P&ID drawings.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
