Software Engineer - Patras

Join our continuously growing team at EY in Greece to gain experience working with our highly motivated team for our Technology Consulting practice. As a Software Engineer, you will work in multi-disciplinary teams to provide information technology related services, such as software development, solution architecture and IT implementation support.

Requirements

• Studies in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or other related, quantitative fields
• Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming with experience in at least one high level programming language (C#, Java, Python) or experience in front-end development using technologies like HTML5, CSS3 and modern JavaScript frameworks
• Knowledge of relational databases concepts and experience working with SQL
• Experience in implementation of IT systems, including analysis, design and integration (ideal)
• Experience on versioning and source control systems (ideal)
• Experience in consuming or designing APIs (REST/JSON or SOAP) (ideal)
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development methodologies (ideal)
• Familiarity with cloud technologies/services (Azure, AWS) and DevOps (ideal)
• Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g. Docker) and orchestration software (e.g. Kubernetes) (ideal)
