FSO - Technology Consulting - Business / Data Analyst (Core Banking)

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business and Data Analyst to support delivery of a next-generation core system modernisation with downstream applications and systems across different business segments (e.g. Retail, SME, and Commercial). This role is critical in bridging the gap between business needs and technical delivery by capturing and validating business requirements and ensuring data readiness, quality, and lineage throughout the transformation lifecycle.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Business Analyst or Data Analyst role in the financial services industry, with at least one end-to-end system transformation or modernisation project - banking core
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured, detail-oriented mindset
• Hands-on skills in data analysis using SQL, Excel, or data profiling tools
• Understanding of data governance, quality, and privacy principles
• Understanding of financial services core modules, such as: Banking (e.g. CASA, Deposits, Loans, Payments, Customer, Treasury)
• Familiarity with banking operations, business processes, and regulatory reporting (e.g., financial accounting, CCRIS, STATsmart, MFRS9, PIDM, EAL)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate technical content for non-technical audiences
