EY is looking for a Managing Director in their Investment Banking - MedTech group. The role involves providing clients with objective advice on M&A and capital markets alternatives, leading high-profile transactions, and managing a team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive investment banking experience, particularly in originating and executing M&A transactions, and strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of directly related work experience; or a graduate degree and at least 7 years of related work experience
- Extensive investment banking experience, particularly originating and executing M&A transactions
- Existing Series 7 and/or 79 plus Series 63 securities licenses (in good standing)
- Ability to work directly with clients as the most senior banking team representative able to manage all client deliverables
- Strong experience with both originating transactions and leading a team in execution
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
- A proven record of excellence in investment banking specific to mergers, acquisitions and capital markets for MedTech and related sectors
- Experience gained within another credible investment banking organization
- Established networking skills in a relevant industry
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary
