Ophthalmic Technician

Ophthalmic Technician assists doctors in eye examinations, performing workups, vision tests, and collecting medical data. Must be willing to travel to different clinic locations. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

• Gathering medical records and patient information
• Taking ocular measurements, both anatomical and functional
• Administering or preparing medications
• Providing eye care and contact lens information to the patient
• Maintaining and cleaning ophthalmic instruments
• Assisting the doctors in basic procedures
