Job Description
Responsible for the planning, implementation, and supervision of environmental, health, and safety programs so that Fabcon follows legal and regulatory requirements and provides a safe and healthy place to work.
Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in the health and safety field
- Good presentation and training skills
- Good people skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop and implement environment and safety programs
- Ability to establish and maintain record keeping in compliance with all company and regulatory agencies
- Able to set high standards and get results
- Ability to lead, motivate and influence with and without direct authority
- Strong situational analysis skills, to identify problems and solutions
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and e-mail)
- Good knowledge of state, federal, and local laws pertaining to the general industry and construction industry
- Understanding of county and state environmental compliance issues in all areas that Fabcon produces and erects
