Plant Environmental Health & Safety Manager

Responsible for planning, implementing, and supervising environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and provide a safe and healthy work environment. Assists in developing overall EHS program and leads implementation of Fabcon Safety Excellence and Leadership (SEAL) roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in safety field
• Certified safety professional and/or safety degree preferred
• College degree desired
• Good presentation and training skills
• Good people skills with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to develop and implement environment and safety programs
• Ability to establish and maintain record keeping in compliance with all company and regulatory agencies
• Strong situational analysis skills, to identify problems and solutions
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and e-mail)
• Good knowledge of state, federal, and local laws pertaining to the general industry and construction industry
