Faculty is looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to join their Public Services Business Unit, leveraging AI for the benefit of individual citizens and the public good.
Requirements
- solid backend development skills in Python frameworks (such as FastAPI)
- comfortable managing the full application lifecycle
- full-stack experience and exposure to TypeScript and modern frontend frameworks like React or Vue
- experience deploying software within cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or GCP, ideally using containerisation tools like Docker
- scientific and pragmatic mindset, testing assumptions and balancing big-picture vision with the technical details required for execution
- able to maintain a balance between rapid prototyping and long-term maintainability
- thrives in autonomous, fast-paced environments where you can take full ownership of problems
- compelling communicator who enjoys working in a team-oriented culture and has a relentless drive to learn and apply novel technologies
