Job Description
Faculty is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Technology team and work on the Frontier Decision Intelligence platform, a groundbreaking AI-focused product that empowers organisations to make high-impact, informed decisions. The role involves driving core technical contributions, designing and implementing customer-facing aspects, and building reusable solutions using Python and TypeScript. The ideal candidate has strong back-end engineering experience, experience with databases and CI/CD pipelines, and expertise in containerisation and deployment/orchestration.
Requirements
- Strong back-end engineering experience in Python or Node
- Front-end expertise in TypeScript and React
- 4 years+ of commercial engineering experience
- Solid understanding of system architecture, design, and automated testing strategies
- Experience with databases, specifically PostgreSQL
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab
- Expertise in containerisation (Docker) and deployment/orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup-centric environment
