Lead Software Engineer

Faculty is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join their Technology team and significantly scale their groundbreaking Frontier Decision Intelligence platform. The successful candidate will drive core technical contributions to the platform, design and implement customer-facing aspects, and build reusable solutions using Python and TypeScript. The role requires strong web development experience in React and TypeScript, as well as experience in engineering, system architecture, and database management.

Requirements

• Strong web development experience in React and TypeScript
• Engineering experience in Python or Node
• Solid understanding of system architecture, design, and automated testing strategies
• Experience with databases, specifically PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines with tools like GitLab
• Expertise in containerisation (Docker) and deployment/orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Proactive collaboration and experience working with cross-functional teams
