Fairstead is a purpose-driven real estate firm seeking a General Manager for its affordable housing properties. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure compliance with regulations, and supervise a team to deliver high-quality housing and manage finances.
Requirements
- Three years management experience including supervising a team (property management, hospitality, retail, or restaurant management)
- COS (Certified Occupancy Specialist) or CPO (Certified Professional of Occupancy) certification
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Flexible, outgoing, authentic, and confident personality
- Ability to thrive in an informal, yet fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- EIV experience
- Yardi experience preferred
- TCS certification for tax credit properties
- Ability to effectively communicate with a range of people and personalities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with staff members and the community
- Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
- Takes a proactive approach to anticipating and preventing problems
