Fairstone Bank is seeking a Legal Counsel to join their team, reporting to the Director, Legal. The successful candidate will provide legal expertise and support to Fairstone Financial Inc., and have the opportunity to grow and develop their skills in a dynamic in-house legal team.

Requirements

• Provide strategic legal support to various business units, including operations, human resources, risk, finance, marketing, product development, and corporate development teams
• Manage litigation files in conjunction with external counsel
• Draft, negotiate, and review commercial contracts and related documents
• Advise business units on consumer lending laws and regulations
