Medical Assistant

Family Care Center is seeking a Medical Assistant to provide care for clinic patients under supervision of the physician or nurse practitioner. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, completion of a formal training program as a medical assistant, and 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant. The role involves escorting patients, taking vital signs, documenting information, and communicating with patients and staff.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of formal training program as a medical assistant
• 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant
• Electronic Medical Record experience and health insurance preferred
• RMA or CMA certification preferred
• BLS preferred
