Psychiatrist

Family Care Center is seeking a Psychiatrist to provide therapy and/or medication management to patients in a dynamic and supportive environment. The ideal candidate will have an MD or DO degree, ACGME-accredited residency training program in psychiatry, and current medical license and DEA registration.

Requirements

• Provide clinical services at or above customary practice standards
• Conduct diagnostic assessments using the bio-psycho-social model
• Develop comprehensive treatment plans through multi-disciplinary collaboration
• Initiate and manage psychopharmacologic treatments
• Order and evaluate laboratory and other diagnostic test results
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals when hospitalization is required
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and families when clinically appropriate
• Work collaboratively with medical assistants to streamline clinical workflow
