PACE Intake Specialist RN (Temp)

The PACE Intake Specialist RN implements the operational plan to increase PACE program enrollment, leads the enrollment initiatives, and ensures the enrollment process is efficient and easily accessible for potential enrollees. The role also assists with community education through participation in community events and speaking engagements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
• Active RN Licensure required
• 3 years of nursing, one year with the frail or elderly population
• Knowledge of project management, quality, and research methods
• Knowledge of culturally diverse population
• Principles and practices of health care, systems, and managed care principles and practices
• Medicare and Medi-Cal benefits and regulations
• Techniques of motivational interviewing
• Use of evidence-based tools, such as the frailty index for elders (FIFE)
