Job Description
Provide guidance and supervision of children/adolescents in a residential setting, promoting physical and mental well-being, and implementing Trauma Systems Therapy (TST).
Requirements
- Empathetic and good listener
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
- Reliable transportation with valid drivers license and proof of insurance
- Knowledge of cultural, ethnic, racial and socioeconomic issues
- Bilingual/ASL skills for compensation
- Multilingual skills for compensation
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs
- Ability to push or pull 10 lbs or more
- Training in and implementation of de-escalation techniques
