Corporate Counsel - Corporate Transactions

We are seeking a Corporate Counsel to support Mergers & Acquisitions, strategic investments, reinsurance, and other insurance-related transactions. This attorney will handle a wide range of complex transactional and regulatory work, including drafting and negotiating reinsurance agreements, investment agreements, regulatory filings, and commercial real estate leases.

Requirements

• Provides specialized legal interpretations relating to the assigned Corporate Legal Division
• Researches and prepares legal memoranda and opinions on specialized questions including corporate transactions and corporate secretarial
• Drafts letters, opinions, and briefs directed to government boards and agencies
• Conducts legal research and drafts points, authorities, and briefs
• Manages special assignments as requested by legal department management
