Fastly is seeking a Senior Account Executive to lead the growth of its commerce and finance verticals in Japan. The ideal candidate has a strong technical sales background, a network of contacts, and a business acumen to lead and close large engagements at CTO, CISO, CIO, CFO, and CEO levels.
Requirements
- 7+ years of sales experience, with a proven track record of new business development and sales leadership
- Prior experience selling to Commerce or Finance companies in Japan
- Extensive network of key contacts within the SaaS PaaS/Cloud Platform sector
- Proven track record of effective outbound prospecting, managing sophisticated enterprise sales cycles, and accurate pipeline management and forecasting
- Experience with technologies and content delivery network services, security services, cloud-based services, SaaS, PaaS, content management, web analytics, website performance, cloud storage, mobile content delivery, or managed web hosting is helpful
- Native Japanese speaking and writing skills and business-level English skills
