Mechanical Engineering Co-Op

We are looking for an eligible student candidate to work as a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op at Fermilab. The candidate should be enrolled in a Baccalaureate program of study in Mechanical Engineering, with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. The candidate will assist in all facets of engineering projects, including engineering analysis, design, prototyping, and testing. The expected hiring range is $21.26-$25.93.

Requirements

• High school diploma (or equivalent) and must be enrolled at a college or university in good standing
• Successful completion of applied superconductivity and/or thermal-fluids courses is desirable
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and process flow and electrical schematics
• Ability to use a computer for performing engineering analysis, writing reports, and crafting presentations
