Mechanical Technician

Fermilab is seeking a Mechanical Technician who will provide complex technical support for an area of assignment, typically an experimental or support group. The technician will fabricate, assemble, install, and remove mechanical and/or electrical parts, sub-assemblies, controls, and devices for Laboratory projects/equipment.

Requirements

• HS degree (or technical certificate or equivalent)
• 3+ years of extensive experience with mechanical systems
• Ability to work independently following general or detailed verbal or written instructions
• Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
