Infrastructure Engineer

Fieldguide is a remote-first company that builds software for assurance and audit practitioners. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead complex infrastructure initiatives and improve team velocity. You will design and maintain the cloud foundation that powers our product, serving as a technical owner for critical areas of our infrastructure.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience constructing complex cloud solutions using multiple AWS services
• Proficiency in designing effective monitoring/alerting and log aggregation solutions using tools like Datadog and AWS CloudWatch
• Experience in developing and maintaining software in security and regulatory compliance environments (SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, etc.)
• Ability to mentor junior engineers on infrastructure fundamentals and best practices
• Passion for mentoring and coaching other engineers
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and are capable of managing multiple competing priorities
