Social Worker

This is an exciting time to join the Children, Families Social Work Service in Fife. We are recruiting social workers for our Early Help & Support and Enhanced Children & Families Teams. As a Social Worker, you will have a lead role in delivering our Families First Strategy, working alongside children and their families to help them get the right support at the right time.

Requirements

• Qualified social worker or social work student close to qualifying
• Registered with the SSSC
• Carry a caseload of varying complexity
• Communicate effectively with children, young people, their carers and other professionals
• Assess need and risk
• Work individually and/or collaboratively to produce plans
• Coordinate and/or deliver interventions
• Produce high quality written work
• Organise diary and prioritise work
