We are looking for a Lead Associate for the Specialist Fraud Team in the Financial Crime Market Intervention (FCMI) department. The role will involve managing a portfolio of complex supervisory cases and projects, building relationships with firms, and working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum: Significant prior experience within financial crime, including a strong understanding of relevant financial crime rules.
- Minimum: Demonstrable experience presenting complex information to stakeholders (internal and external) in a clear, concise and compelling way, building and managing professional relationships.
- Essential: In-depth knowledge of the FCA’s regulatory and wider legal framework, and a good understanding of the wider business, economic, and market environment for financial services firms and how this affects firms’ vulnerability to fraud.
- Essential: Proven experience of strategic thinking and decision making.
- Essential: Ability to think critically about the strengths and weaknesses of firms' systems and controls to identify relevant risks, issues and themes and arrive at appropriate judgements.
