Job Description
The Mortgage Loan Closer II is responsible for accurate preparation of the closing disclosure, closing documents, and funding of the loan until purchased by the investor. The position involves managing mortgage pipelines, reviewing file documentation for compliance, and assisting in the closing and administration of mortgage loans.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
- 4-6 years banking experience with an emphasis on loan processing and real estate lending preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference
- Ability to comprehend complex income situations for qualifying purposes
