Substation Design Standards Engineer

FirstEnergy is seeking a Substation Design Standards Engineer to contribute to the organization's efforts in utility operations. The role involves creating and managing engineering designs, conducting analyses, and ensuring compliance with safety standards for substation projects. This position reports to the Substation Engineering group and requires a self-directed individual comfortable working both independently and within teams.

Requirements

• Prepare bills-of-material and specifications.
• Review construction documents and ensure compliance.
• Provide engineering support to employees and stakeholders.
• Manage equipment orders and maintain project budget.
