Job Description
FirstEnergy is seeking a Transmission Design Engineer to design and conduct analyses of wood and steel transmission structures. The role involves calculating wire sags, clearing clearances, developing design packages, and providing technical support to leadership. The position is based in Greensburg, PA and is on-site.
Requirements
- Bachelors of Science degree in Electrical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering (BSEE, BSCE, BSME) or related field
- Minimum of two years of Engineering experience
- Demonstrated leadership skills
- Strong organizational, computer and problem solving skills
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD and PLS-CADD (preferred)
