Regional Patient Advocate

Firstsource Solutions USA, LLC is seeking a Regional Patient Advocate to join their team. The Patient Advocate is responsible for screening patients on-site at hospitals for eligibility assistance programs. The role involves providing information and reports to client contacts, keeping them current on progress, and assisting patients with enrollment applications to appropriate agencies. The Patient Advocate will also work with patients to identify their financial responsibilities and introduce ways to achieve financial well-being through payment arrangement options.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 1 - 3 years' experience of medical coding, medical billing, eligibility (hospital or government) or other pertinent medical experience is preferred
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Basic computer skills required
