Senior Manager, State Tax Controversy and Planning

Fiserv is seeking a Senior Manager, State Tax Controversy and Planning to lead the company's state and local income/franchise tax audits, appeals and controversy matters across US state and local jurisdictions. The role requires deep technical knowledge of state income and franchise tax rules, project management skills, and ability to interpret and defend complex tax positions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience with a strong technical and applied knowledge base of State and Local (and US Federal) tax laws
• Experience in state and local tax experience
• Strong technical knowledge of state income / franchise tax rules and audit procedures
• Experience managing multiple state audits concurrently through resolution
• Bachelor's of Science in Accounting or related degree
