Data Engineer

Fisher & Paykel is seeking a Data Engineer to join their Enterprise Data & Analytics team, responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality data pipelines and platforms across the organisation.

Requirements

• 5–10 years' experience sourcing, building, analysing, and presenting organisational data to support critical business decisions
• Strong expertise in SQL, including writing efficient, reusable queries and reviewing and optimising others' work
• Proven experience working with BI and analytics platforms, with strong hands‐on capability in Power BI
• Solid experience across the Microsoft data stack, including SQL Server, SSIS, SSAS, and Power BI
• Demonstrated experience in data modelling, data integration, Change Data Capture (CDC), and working with data from multiple source systems (e.g. CRMs such as Salesforce)
• Strong analytical mindset with experience applying statistical techniques to generate insights and clear, business‐focused recommendations
