Senior Network Engineer, Network Operations

Five9 is seeking a highly motivated technical leader to guide the Network Engineering and Operations team in delivering scalable, automated, and cloud-ready networking solutions. The Senior Network Engineer will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to design and deliver next-generation data center fabric architectures, provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of engineers, and drive automation strategy and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field
• Proven technical expertise in fast-paced, dynamic, production environments
• Extensive hands-on experience with data center fabric and software-defined networking technologies
• 8+ years of experience in technology roles
• Strong understanding of dynamic routing protocols, particularly BGP
• Experience developing root cause analyses and implementing error prevention and corrective action procedures
• Experience managing and operating public cloud networking environments
• Strong experience with incident response, change management, and operational governance practices
• Demonstrated project management skills
• Excellent communication skills
