Janitor

We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business. As a janitor, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of buildings and worksites. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED equivalent and 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work. Knowledge of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities is a plus. Must have good listening and verbal communication skills, be punctual, and maintain a neat appearance.

Requirements

• Sweeps, vacuums, mops, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors using industrial vacuum cleaners and scrubbing and buffing machines.
• Dusts and washes walls, cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures.
• Moves cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas.
• Removes stains from surfaces using chemicals and cleaning solutions.
• Sweeps and vacuums walks, rakes leaves, cuts grass, removes snow or performs other incidental seasonal tasks.
• Picks up trash, dusts and removes heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
• Moves boxes, furniture and grates to clean areas.
• Applies protection applications to walls floors and equipment.
• Removes protective applications from walls floors and equipment.
• Empty waste baskets and replace liners.
• Dusts and cleans office furniture, carpets, glass, and tile areas.
• Wipes and cleans table tops, chairs, vending machines, appliances, sink and counter areas, and restrooms.
