Janitors 1st and 2nd shift

Job Summary: Maintain the optimum level of cleanliness in buildings and worksites. Job Description: Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, and polishing floors. Clean walls, ceilings, and light fixtures. Move furniture and equipment to clean areas. Remove stains and trash. Empty waste baskets and replace liners. Clean glass, sinks, and appliances. Sweep and mop tile floors. Clean restrooms, including toilets, basins, and urinals. Dust and clean cleared desks and surfaces. Maintain equipment and keep the janitor's closet neat and orderly.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work
• Good listening and verbal communication skills
• Ability to understand and anticipate the needs of clients
• Punctuality
• Ability to stand, walk, and sit for long periods of time
• Ability to lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment
• Ability to safely use equipment provided
