Environmental Intern

Role Overview

As an Environmental Compliance Intern, you will support the Environmental Compliance team in implementing the company's environmental compliance program on construction projects. You will monitor construction activities, aid in site inspections, and prepare compliance documentation and reporting.

What You Will Do

Assist with implementation of Sustainability Management Plans, identify risks at project sites, document findings, and conduct field work such as groundwater and soil sampling.

Requirements

• Enrolled in Environmental Sciences, Ecology, Biology, or a similar program
• Basic understanding of state and federal environmental regulations
• Basic understanding of Sustainable Business Practices
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Experience working in a team environment
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Strong judgment and highly responsible
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
