The Inventory Control Team Member provides a friendly and efficient customer experience by ensuring inventory adjustments, item resolution, inventory audits, and cycle counts are routinely conducted. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory, collaborating with others, and resolving shrink concerns.
Requirements
- Maintain store inventory accuracy
- Conduct weekly merchandise scans
- Work collaboratively with the replenishment team
- Maintain the integrity and organization of inventory within the backroom, capstock, and yard
- Timely resolution of items found to be defective or damaged
- Work collaboratively with the Inventory Control Coordinator, Loss Prevention, and Store Support Center Inventory Control Team
- Enter, modify, and audit inventory adjustments
- Acquire a thorough working knowledge of the store handheld devices and all systems
- Partners with the Logistics department to ensure cleanliness and organization of the resolution area and defective processing zone
- Perform audits to ensure inventory management processes and backroom locator is being completed in a timely and accurate manner
