Mechanical Assembler -1st shift

Performs assembly and disassembly of wind turbine power transmissions and their subassemblies. Works from blueprints, parts lists and assembly cards. Uses parts washers, freezers, ovens, cranes, fork trucks, hand and power tools.

Requirements

• Basic Knowledge of Lean
• General shop safety training
• Shop computers
• Parts washer use
• Crane operation and safety
• Proper use of chains, shackles, and straps
• Oven or induction heaters operation and use
• Hydraulic torque wrench use in including torque specifications
• Proper loctite use
• Measuring equipment use(mic's, veneres,ect.)
• Knowledge of bearings
