Floor Assembler

We're hiring a talented 1st Shift Assembler for our team in Elgin, IL on a full-time basis. The First Shift Assembler is responsible for the disassembly, inspection, repair, and reassembly of heavy-duty industrial gearbox units used in various industry applications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of experience in mechanical assembly, industrial maintenance, or heavy equipment repair (gearbox experience preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and build documentation.
• Proficiency with mechanical hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
• Ability to safely lift and handle heavy components with mechanical assistance.
• Basic computer skills for entering work order data.
