Corporate Buyer

The Buyer is responsible for coordinating the movement of purchased materials from suppliers and addressing any supply/supplier issues. The position includes coordinating production requirements aligned with sales forecasts and maintaining and creating new relationships with suppliers and negotiation of prices and cost-saving measures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University in business, finance or sciences
• Minimum seven years of experience in the Automotive Industry
• Community College Diploma in Purchasing and a CSCP designation from Association of Supply Chain Management
• Strong knowledge of payment regulations and fair credit practices
• Moral judgment for handling confidential information and monetary transactions
• Strong diplomatic, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
