Quality Auditor

The Quality auditor has responsibility for a wide variety of quality functions that requires a thorough knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and practices.

Requirements

• Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with basic mathematical skills.
• Experience or designation in quality manufacturing including inspection, auditing, and testing experience.
• Knowledge of tools, concepts, and methodologies of Quality Assurance
• ISO-9001/IATF-16949 Internal auditor training is required
• Core Tools Awareness and Internal Auditing Certificates are required
• Layered Process Auditing experience is an asset
• Experience with painted product is an asset
• Ability to distinguish colour is required
• Ability to coordinate, prioritize and multitask
• Ability to take initiative and recognize needs
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Strong decision making and problem-solving skills
• Previous Quality Experience, with an ability to train others and learn new skills
