Job Description
Responsible for the development of test methods and procedures needed to determine the dimensional features of products, validation and production inspections of all products produced from manufacturing and assembly processes. Utilize knowledge of ISO/ASME GD&T to interpret engineering layouts, drawings, and documentation of various levels of components, assemblies, and subassemblies using CAD system (i.e., AutoCAD, Solidworks, Orcad).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in education and 8 years of experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience with measurement programming and writing measurement running programs.
- Experience with fixture design.
- Experience with Data/Statistical Analysis – MiniTab, Excel, Q-DAS.
- Solid understanding of CT Scanning operation – Metrotom OS, Calypso, VG Studio, Zeiss Inspect.
- Solid Modeling interpretation and 2-D drawing interpretation.
- Must possess the skills in CMM & OGP programming using the following applications – MeasureMind 3D, Zone 3, PC-DMIS.
- Must have a solid understanding of First Article Inspection (FAI) reporting.
- Experience in a plastics manufacturing or quality environment preferred.
