Job Description
Flexport is seeking an Ocean Planning Associate to manage space planning, carrier booking, and allocation management for its Indonesia export gateway. The role involves coordination with internal teams, carrier partners, and clients to ensure efficient shipping operations.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in freight forwarding, ocean carrier operations, or logistics planning
- Proven track record of working closely with carrier local offices or directly in a carrier customer service role
- Strong understanding of TPEB and/or FEWB tradelanes, allocation cycles, and equipment control
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Bahasa Indonesia
- Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and highly organized
- Proactive, data-driven problem solver who thrives in a fast-moving environment
