The Accountant is responsible for providing comprehensive day-to-day accounting support for multiple operating entities and/or a centralized support center. This role ensures the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions, daily and monthly reconciliations, and adherence to organizational accounting policies and internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or an associate’s degree with five years of demonstrated accounting experience.
- 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
- U.S. GAAP background
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Microsoft Dynamics AX background
- ERP systems experience (SAP preferred).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- High attention to detail with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple systems; proficient with spreadsheets, accounting software, and standard office hardware.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and interact with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders.
