Job Description
Flightcheck is seeking an experienced Lead Aircraft Sheet Metal Technician to supervise and perform advanced sheet metal repairs, modifications, and installations on aircraft structures. The individual will also support AOG operations at various stations and lead a team of skilled technicians.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Must have a valid A&P and State Driver’s License
- Must be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
- Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
- Must have 5+ years aircraft sheet metal experience; 2+ years in a lead role
- Must be able to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall
- Must have strong technical, leadership, and communication skills
