Mechanical Engineer, Associate

Mechanical Engineer, Associate responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems and equipment for FlightSafety International. Responsibilities include creating 2D layouts and 3D models, producing installation and assembly drawings, and providing technical support to manufacturing. Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

• Develop detailed design drawings from engineering data
• Provide supporting analysis and documentation as required
• Modify existing designs and contribute to original design concepts
• Design and produce installation, assembly and detail drawings
• Perform analysis to support design as required
• Provide technical support to manufacturing throughout all phases of training equipment production
• Capable of handling multiple tasks simultaneously
• Demonstrate initiative and independent thought in developing potential solutions to problems
