Job Description
OUR CLIENT is seeking a Senior Technical Accountant to join its Finance Department in New York City. This role will be critical in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of the Our Client's financial activities and reporting processes.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of five years of accounting experience in the financial services industry.
- Public accounting experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP principles and practices.
- Experience with hedge accounting, consolidations, and special purpose vehicles (SPVs) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Oracle products and SaaS treasury platforms such as Reval is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
