Job Description
The Academic Advisor I provides guidance to students on academic and personal development, and assists them in making decisions concerning personal educational goals leading to graduation. The role involves developing student education plans, providing one-on-one and group advising, and educating students on FGCU technology and resources.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an accredited institution
- Experience operating a personal computer and proficient with Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of theoretical models of college student development and advising theory
