HVAC

Work involves performing skilled air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration tasks to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and service systems in classrooms, laboratories, and offices for Florida Tech. On-call position with normal working hours Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with occasional overtime.

Requirements

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and related systems
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair or replace equipment and systems
• Daily inspections and maintenance of air conditioning, heating, refrigeration, and ventilation systems
• Maintain tools and equipment in safe, clean, and orderly condition
• Housekeeping and inventory of cart and or service van
• Carry a rotating cellphone for after-hours emergency calls
