Director of Tax

We're looking for a rare, highly specialized tax professional to build and lead our tax function from the ground up, shaping tax strategy across multiple jurisdictions in an exciting, fast-growing industry.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in US and UK tax law, with experience across both direct and indirect tax
• Proven ability to navigate multi-jurisdictional tax structuring from a legal entity perspective
• Experience leading or managing tax provision processes under US GAAP
• Track record of engaging with state-level tax authorities or lobbying for tax incentives
• Strong commercial mindset — you think like a business person who happens to be a tax expert
• Ability to manage and drive external advisors to outcomes
• Active CPA required; JD preferred

Benefits

• Base salary range: $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, qualifications, and location
• Total compensation may also include equity in the form of stock options
